Where to take the exam:
Exams must be written in a proctored setting. ASTTBC does not invigilate exams at this time. Acceptable proctoring locations are places such as libraries or college/university student centers.
Once you have paid for the exam and supplied us with the name and contact information of an invigilator we will send the exam and instructions to them. You will make writing arrangements with the proctor. Invigilation fees are borne unto the student.
What’s the passing mark? What about rewrites?
The passing grade for our exam is 70%. A candidate may rewrite the HICE exam a maximum of three times. If the first two don’t result in a passing grade then they must wait 12 months from the date of the last written exam to rewrite.
